The league double-header at Leederville Oval on Saturday afternoon finished with Subiaco Women’s holding off a fast-finishing Swan Districts to take out the win by one point.
Bouncing back from their round nine defeat to Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval, the tough Subiaco Lions team responded at home with a 6.6 (42) to 6.5 (41) win.

It was all Maroon and Gold at Leederville Oval on Saturday afternoon for Subiaco, ending West Coast’s four-game winning streak prior to their round 15 bye, with the Lions far too strong recording a 68-point win over the Eagles.
In Captain Leigh Kitchin’s 100th WAFL game, the Lions dominated from start to finish, as they ran out with a 15.9 (99) to 4.7 (31) victory.

This weekend’s game v West Coast will be captain Leigh Kitchin’s 100thWAFL game since debuting for Subiaco FC in Round 1 2015 where he collected 28 disposals, 3 marks, 6 tackles and a goal.
The 29-year-old crossed from VFL Club Frankston to the Lions in 2015. Prior to arriving in Western Australia, Kitchin appeared in 86 of a possible 87 games for Frankston.

SFC appoints new Corporate Partnerships and BD Manager
The Subiaco Football Club has appointed a new Manager to oversee the crucial Corporate Partnerships and Business Development portfolio of the club.
