The Subiaco Football Club is delighted to announce that Baker Denneman has re-signed as our Women’s Head Coach, extending his tenure into a third season.
Since taking on the role in 2024, Denneman has been instrumental in building the strength, culture, and pathway of our women’s program. In 2025, he guided the team to its first finals appearance since 2020, finishing second on the ladder with an impressive 12-3-1 record.
Looking ahead, Denneman will work closely with newly appointed CEO Kellie Properjohn and Senior Men’s Head Coach Jarrad Schofield to ensure alignment across the Club and further strengthen our One Club motto.
Properjohn said “I am pleased to welcome Baker back for the 2026 season. This creates the consistency we are excited about to support the ongoing growth of our program. I look forward to working with Baker to achieve success in the upcoming season and beyond”
Newly returned Senior Men’s Head Coach Jarrad Schofield also welcomed the opportunity to work alongside Denneman, emphasising the benefits of alignment across the Club. “It’s great to have Baker recommit to Subiaco FC for another year. He’s helped develop and grow our Women’s program and I’m looking forward personally for the opportunity to work with Baker and help support our Women’s program”.
For Denneman, the chance to continue leading the program is both a privilege and a challenge he’s eager to embrace. He spoke passionately about the culture and ambition of the group. “I am really excited to be part of the journey again as we build towards 2026. The playing group and the culture that’s been created within this program are truly special and continue to be a driving force behind everything we do. It’s a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated and connected group, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.
Having Jarrad Schofield join the football program and share his experience will be invaluable, not only for my own development as a coach but also in helping us strengthen our program and continue to drive the footy club moving forward.”
The Subiaco Football club congratulates Denneman on re-signing and looks forward to another successful season under his leadership.
