Pre-Season Week 1 at Leederville Oval

Subiaco’s 2018 Pre-Season will commence this coming weekend with all grades; league, reserves, colts and 16’s to have their first official hit-out of the year with all games to be played against rival West Perth.

A time change has occurred to the start of both the reserves and league games on the Saturday morning to ensure that players are not forced to play in the hot point of the day, with the reserves game to commence at 8.30am and the league game to commence at 11am ensuring both games are wrapped up before 2pm.

They will be preceded on the Friday night when the Subiaco colts and 16’s will play under lights with the first game of the 16’s talent carnival to commence at 5pm and the colts game to commence at 7pm.

This weekend is the first chance for Subiaco fans to get a look at a host of new and returning players with names like Clarke, Rohde, Elhers, Clegget, Newton, Decluca, Bradley, Waters, Fletcher, Porteous and Fullgrabe all in the mix for pre-season action as Subiaco builds to their round one blockbuster clash against East Perth.

After an arduous pre-season, Subiaco’s players are relishing the chance to get back on the field as 2018 sees the club looking to atone for recent Grand Final losses.

The Subiaco Football Club calls on all fans, members and parents to get down to Leederville Oval this weekend and cheer on the Lions.
