The Subiaco Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Tom Robbins, a true Lions great, who left us yesterday morning.
Tom proudly wore the maroon and gold from 1956 to 1964, playing 159 league games and winning our Fairest & Best in 1958 and 1961. He also represented Western Australia with distinction and was regarded as one of the finest wingmen of his era. Tom was awarded Subiaco Life Membership in 1973.
Tom’s impact went far beyond his playing days — his loyalty, humility, and love for the game became part of Subiaco’s DNA. His legacy continues through his grandson Josh Robbins, who now represents the Lions with the same pride and passion that Tom once did.
To the Robbins family, friends, and all who knew him — our heartfelt condolences. The Subiaco community stands with you as we remember and celebrate a true club legend.
