Lighting Update

The Sullivan Logistics Stadium project hit a major milestone this week with the first activation of the impressive 4x light towers that will see the venue hit a light reading of 1,000 lux for night football. This lux level will be the highest of any WAFL ground and is even suitable for future AFL broadcast matches.
Players get their first run under the lights for their main session of the week on Wednesday and Club Captain Greg Clark was excited to see how they go. “The playing group has been talking internally about this for a few months, so it will be amazing to get to experience night football in Leederville again.”
Easter weekends see two League matches at the venue with East Perth playing on Good Friday and The Lions taking on West Perth in a crucial match for both teams on Saturday. It would be great to notch up consecutive wins against a traditional rival such as the Falcons.
Kick off time will be at 7.10pm following a full day of football starting with the Futures last game of their season starting at 11.40am. Parents and kids looking for something to do this Saturday may even get a shock visit from the Easter bunny.
Club Commercial Manager Joe Georgiades said, “we are really hopefully that night football will allow a lot of Subiaco supporters who can’t come to games on Saturday afternoon to attend some evening fixtures with their mates, and get around the players and the awesome Leederville precinct.”
