We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Lowndes as Subiaco Football Club’s new Talent Manager & Colts Coach.
As Talent Manager, Tom will lead the way we identify and develop emerging talent, strengthen our connections with schools, junior clubs and families, and build programs that inspire the next generation of players and supporters. A key part of the role will be building relationships and identifying talent across both our metro and regional zones, making sure players in these areas have a strong connection to the club and a clear pathway through to the maroon and gold.
Tom is no stranger to Subiaco. He has spent the past two seasons coaching our Reserves and came through our club as a Colts player in 2014 and 2015. That combination gives him a genuine, first-hand understanding of how players progress across our development pathway.
Alongside the Talent Manager role, Tom will also take on the role as Colts Coach. We see the two roles working hand in hand: having our Talent Manager leading the Colts puts him right in the middle of our development pathway, sharpening how we identify and grow young talent and making sure the players coming through are supported every step of the way.
